Description: This presentation will outline a financial and estate planning model for your child with special needs and will focus on how parents can create and secure funds to provide a future quality of life for their children with special needs without interfering with the receiving of government benefits. Topics include discretionary (Henson) trusts, wills qualifications and roles of trustees, methods of funding trusts and developing a life plan for your child with special needs.  Also to be discussed is the new Registered Disability Savings Plan.
